2.    Serves as a liaison in support of the outreach, advocacy and relationship building efforts of the Board of Directors and CEO to a carefully identified set of leaders in philanthropy, corporate, government, nonprofit, and community advocacy.

3.    Directly oversees relationships with approximately 150 current and prospective financial supporters. Ensures that each individual receives continuous, personalized attention and ongoing engagement in furtherance of that individual’s relationship with and support of KSPS. On average, conducts a minimum of one and an optimum of three personal contacts with current and prospective supporters each business day.

4.    Provides direct, efficient, responsive and personalized support for KSPS Board Members to support each Board Member’s work to establish and build strong and productive relationships with current and prospective partners and investors. 

5.    Ensures that each financial supporter receives personalized, face-to-face follow up reports that explain the use of funding and the benefits created. Before these reports are generated, each individual will be consulted on the means of reporting that are most suitable and helpful for each.

6.    Ensures that each contact with a current and prospective investor is reported according to office policy and procedures no later than 24 hours after occurrence.

7.    Ensures the donor database is continuously updated with accurate, appropriately organized information.

8.    Conducts the production, distribution and analysis of bi-weekly and monthly pipeline reports that summarize the current relationship stage and activity levels with all current and prospective partners and supporters: individuals, foundations, corporations, government agencies and impact investors.

9.    Gift Processing – ensures that everyone who provides a donation of time, financial or in-kind resources receives a personalized acknowledgment and gift receipt within three business days; ensures that all checks, cash or other financial instruments are processed in a manner that reflects best practices around financial controls, book keeping and accounting. Supports the monthly reconciliation process with all appropriate follow-up detail.

KOIN 6, a Nexstar Broadcasting Group, Inc. television station in Portland, OR is seeking an Ignite Director.  The successful candidate will have a high degree of professionalism, effective interpersonal relation skills, ability to organize and prioritize workload and function well in pressure situations. 

Experience:

-       Newscast directing experience required

-       Prior experience using the Grass Valley Ignite system or qualified training required.  Director will build Ignite commands and effects for newscast and other programs

-       ENPS newsroom system preferred

-       Operational knowledge of Chyron system and Radamac Robotics is a plus

Requirements:

-       Direct newscasts, breaking news and other programs using Grass Valley Ignite system.  Other programs could include live audiences.

-       Must possess strong people skills and production values

-       Must be able to work all shifts and holidays

KXLY-TV is looking for our next evening news anchor. We're looking for someone who is engaged, enthusiastic and excited about going beyond the antiquated definition of "news anchor." Of course, anchoring live news coverage from the studio is part of the job, but it's really just the beginning. We're looking for someone who is passionate about creating original content for all platforms - and, passionate about finding creative ways to deliver that content to our viewers. The ideal candidate will be part of daily news coverage before the "on air" light goes on, contributing story ideas, engaging viewers on social media, and working on special reports.

What you’ll do:

  • Anchor daily newscasts Monday-Friday

  • Contribute to the overall execution of news on TV and digital platforms

  • Publish content and generate story ideas through social media sites like Facebook and Twitter

  • Assist news producer in preparing newscast

  • Assist online staff in preparing for digital stories

 What you’ll bring:

  • 4 year degree with an emphasis in Journalism or equivalent

  • Computer literacy, including newsroom computer systems

  • Knowledge of broadcast quality camera equipment

  • Ability to edit video on Avid, or similar equipment

  • Possess strong broadcast and AP style writing skills

  • Proficient at posting content to various websites

  • Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment

·         Must demonstrate strong news judgment

·         Minimum four years’ experience as an Anchor or Multi-Media Journalist preferred

·         Videography and non-linear editing experience preferred

·         Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

KIMA-TV in Yakima, Washington is seeking an experienced and creative Bilingual-Spanish Producer/Editor for our Spanish channel Creative Services Department.  Qualified candidates must be fluent in Spanish and English (speaking, reading and writing), be able to create, conceptualize, script, shoot and edit cutting edge commercials for our KUNW Univision clients.  Live production experience is a plus.  The ability to work well with internal and external clients is vital. 

Responsibilities:

·         Meeting deadlines with clients and staff, and managing equipment maintenance and usage

·         Properly coordinate and schedule all aspects of Commercial Production, including working with clients, sales staff and agencies

·         Work with sales management and Marketing Consultants to create a mutually beneficial relationship with clients in the community

·         Accurately and promptly turn in all client billing to department manager

·         Operate remote trucks for events such as satellite up-links and multi-camera remote productions

·         Other responsibilities as assigned

 Requirements: 

·         Must be fluent in Spanish and English (reading, writing, and speaking)

·         Non-linear editing experience (Adobe Premier non-linear editing experience is a must)

·         Extensive shooting and scripting of both short and long form spots

·         The ability to write, shoot, and edit content that tells a compelling story

·         A strong understanding of fundamental design, sense of color, typography and composition

·         Advanced knowledge of the post-production process, including media management and encoding video to various formats

·         The ability to maintain a variety of projects and work with varying production styles, while employing strong client service skills

·         Advanced knowledge of High-definition (HD) cameras and videography, motion graphics and creative lighting techniques

·         Ability to maintain digital assets, archives and edit systems

·         Must maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record

·         The ability to routinely lift, carry, and move equipment in excess of 40 lbs.

·         Live, multi-camera production and microwave truck experience is preferred

·         A minimum of two (2) years of experience in broadcast production is a must

·         A college degree is preferred

KIMA-TV in Yakima, Washington is currently seeking a full-time Chief Engineer. 

A qualified candidate will coordinate or perform maintenance of computer and broadcast equipment of the television broadcasting station by performing the following duties: 

  • Plan, manage, train, and coordinate technician's activities

  • Assist and advise in planning of future equipment installations, requirements, and budgetary recommendations

  • Supervise maintenance of computer software, hardware, and local area network applications on systems throughout the station

  • Establish the procedures to insure that all IT equipment is operational and secure

  • Keep software versions up to date. Insures software license compliance. Follows all corporate directives for IT security

  • Supervise preventive maintenance and/or troubleshooting on almost any electronic device or support electronics whether in-house or installed at transmitter; including but not limited to: cameras, video equipment and/or audio switching equipment, processing and monitoring equipment, microwave transmitters and receivers, satellite receivers, and computing equipment

  • Supervise and/or perform transmitter maintenance of all transmitters

  • Respond to trouble calls with broadcast or computer equipment (sometimes after regular hours and weekends)

  • Other duties as assigned

 Requirements: 

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in broadcast television

  • 21st century skill set, a great team-oriented attitude and a dedication to quality

  • Strong leadership skills and exceptional communication are absolutely essential for the successful candidate to possess

  • A strong IT background

  • A college degree, SBE certification, and A+ certification are highly desired
